Abstract

The article presents a study on the frequent prevalence of angina among coronary artery disease (CAD) patients in general care practices in Australia by the Coronary Artery Disease in General Practice (CADENCE) Study. It notes that limited awareness of clinicians on the angina burden of patients is the most important factor in angina prevalence. Moreover, it concludes that performance measurement and health practice feedbacks can improve clinical care and avoid angina recurrent prevalence.
