Abstract

The article discusses the laws and regulations regarding sexual harassment in the U.S. It discusses the approaches on sexual harassment law and its difference on the claims under Title VII. It mentions the forms of sexual harassments including the quid pro quo which is a request for sexual favors in exchange for employment benefits and hostile work environment which involves intimidation that affects the employees' work performance. It also cites the extent to which employers can be held responsible for claims of sexual harassment by their employees. Moreover, it also presents the defenses for employers to defend themselves from charges on sexual harassment.
