Abstract: The article presents information about the history of a museum library in the Waldviertel region of Lower Austria. The library is made up of materials left behind by Austrian collector Josef Höbarth, Austrian historian Friedrich Berg, and Austrian museum director Ingo Prihoda. Further comments are given regarding the joining of three museum libraries in the Waldviertel region in 1990 and 1991.
