Abstract
- In this article, the author discusses the aspects of qualitative psychiatric research. He relates the paper by S. Crabb and A. Chur-Hansen on the contribution of qualitative methods to mental health theory. He mentions the reflective interaction between the evolution of knowledge and the environment as the epistemic method in human thought. He contends that qualitative research provides an alternative forms of understanding about the phenomena that are central to mental health field.
