USAREUR: Building Partner Capacity for the Future.

The article discusses the functions and accomplishments of the U.S. Army Europe (USAREUR) contingency. Functions of the USAREUR includes increasing interoperability and capabilities of allies and coalition partners such as the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). The USAREUR also hopes to remain a valuable force provider as regional conflicts such as that between the Russian federation and the Republic of Georgia threaten stability in the European region.
