The influence of postmodern picturebooks on three boys' narrative competence.

The article presents a study which analyzes the written and visual text of three elementary male students. It points out how postmodern picturebooks influenced the narrative competence of the three students. It also examines the how the children applied their knowledge of the illustrative interactive devices and literary in the picturebooks to produce their own print texts.
