Abstract

The article discusses the value of printcasting as a publishing tool strategically useful for publishers and libraries. It describes printcasting as a product that allows one to have both a web presence, as well as a customizable printed magazine, as a case in point in targeting a specific audience. In launching any such venture, it suggests two things to consider, how good it is in reaching a wider audience, and how to make it unique. It also explains the possibility of creating a distinctive publication by recycling and repurposing existing content.
