LIBERTAD Y TRASCENDENCIA. ¿UN DILEMA O UNA EXIGENCIA?

The analysis of freedom reveals, on the one hand, that its concept relies on terms such as immanence and transcendence, individuality and dialogical character, autonomy and facticity, independence and the in conditional character of ethical demands, of creativity and reception. On the other hand, the existential grammar of freedom highlights the limits of the human being. These limits and those mutually dependent terms raise ontological and practical problems, which ate especially felt as problematic in a postmodern context. This article takes into account the views of philosophers from Kierkegaard to Habermas and tries to find a Christian understanding of freedom. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
