Obstructive Sleep Apnea Screening During Commercial Driver Medical Examinations: A Survey of ACOEM Members.

The article presents a survey of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM) regarding medical screening for drivers suffering from sleep apnea. It mentions that majority of the research found out that OSA can cause impairments in executive and psychomotor function as well as in the vigilance and memory of a person. The authors concluded that more education concerning OSA and drivers are needed.
