Abstract
- The article deals with the decision of the U.S. Air Force to switch the maintenance of the KC-10 aerial refueling aircraft from Boeing to Northrop Grumman and partners in 2010. The deal involves the awarding of a 3.8-billion American dollar contractor logistics support (CLS) package on October 2, 2009, and also covers aircraft modification, engine maintenance and supply chain management. The statement from Boeing about the decision of the Air Force is presented.
