Abstract

The article presents case studies related to shoulder dystocia. Under these cases, several techniques to overcome shoulder dystocia including McRoberts' maneuver, application of suprapubic pressure, posterior head traction, and rotational manipulation of the baby, were attempted but unsuccessful. Ultimately, the shoulder dystocia was overcome by catheter sling traction around the posterior axilla.
