Abstract

In this article the authors reflect on the improvements in ultrasound technology. They notes that a number of clinicians had become more skilled in the use of ultrasound to observe anomalies. They also discusses two papers in which ultrasound was used such as the underlying genetic disorders in cleft lip/palate and the detection of chromosomal and structural anomalies. They concluded that ultrasound should be of significant value in the detection of anomalies.
