The Women in German Yearbook Then and Now: Reflections on History and Hopes for the Future.

The article explores the author's reflection on the past and future of the "Women in the German Yearbook," and the feminist scholars status in Germany. An overview of the author's first involvement in the yearbook in 1980 is presented in which feminist scholarship in German studies were less recognized and developed. However, with perseverance, determination, and sense of urgency the yearbook established reputation as a feminist publication with a positive impact on the academic careers.
