Abstract

The article focuses on the development of a novel olefination method using decarbonylative addition of alkynes and aldehydes. It states that an alkene is generated when an alkyne is added during carbon—hydrogen (C—H) activation of aldehydes. It also notes that a high chemoselectivity was observed during the aromatic and aliphatic aldehydes chemical reaction.
