Abstract
- The article discusses the court case Allen v. Greenville Hotel Partners, Inc., which focuses on franchisor's liability toward a franchisee. Three of the quests affected by a fire that broke out in a Comfort Inn and Suites in Greenville, South Carolina on January 25, 2004 brought a lawsuit against the hotel. The U.S. District Court for South Carolina placed the blame on the franchisee for gross negligence.
