Abstract
- The article describes persons and organizations that the magazine considers heroes or villains of environmental protection. The article praises a number of environmental activists including Al Gore, James Lovelock and Marina Silva. Subject to criticism are several people including Donald Trump, a television personality, and Ian Plimer and Vàclav Klaus, academic figures who deny the existence of climate change.
