Abstract
- The article discusses the potential health risks of xenobiotic exposures to breastfed infants through human milk. A pharmacokinetic model of polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB)-153 was developed to predict the transfer of PCB-153 through breastfeeding. The model's predictions fell within ranges reported in previous studies. The implications of the model are also discussed.
