Abstract
- The article focuses on the efforts of Dallman 4 project of City Water Light & Power Co. in winning the 2009 Plant of the Year award given by the journal "Power." The project is considered as the most expensive and best coal fired power plant of Springfield, Illinois. The company had an agreement with the Sierra Club in deciding the latest coal fired technology, air quality control systems, and building a team of workers.
