Abstract

The article presents a study which documents the epibiotic taxa of the eastern surf chiton, Ceratozona squalida, to support future experimental studies on the relationship between C. squalida and its epibionts. It states that the study has collected and performed field studies along the rocky supratidal and high intertidal at the House of Refuge and Coral Cove Park on the east coast of Florida. Based on the study, the red alga Polysiphonia howei has dominated the algal turf.
