Abstract
- The article offers information on the different types of diagnostic imaging used in the assessment of non-vascular mediastinal masses in children and infants in the U.S. Most often, non-vascular mediastinal masses are found in infants and children. Imaging plays an important role in patient management and correct diagnosis of the ailment. Different types of imaging modalities are available for the purpose including chest radiographs (CXR), ultrasound (US), and computed tomography (CT).
