Abstract
- The article presents information on several resorts and companies that are in the business of skiing in Austria. Krippenstein is a resort with a mountain hut along with a snow-drifted ridge at the top. Kästle Skis is a company that manufactures skiing equipments, and started to own ski racing with its athletes winning 11 medals at the 1956 Olympics in Cortina. Lech is one of the world's greatest resorts, and it offers skiing, most of it on high open peaks.
