DEBATING MAMMOGRAMS.

In this article the author discusses the importance of mammograms for early detection of breast cancer in women. Survival rates for people with breast cancer in the U.S. have increased dramatically but in the developing world breast cancer rates are rising and survival rates are low. The author attributes this disparity to a lack of access to early detection programs including mammography in the developing world.
