Abstract

The article offers the author's insights regarding his son's cultural identity. He reflects on his own childhood as a Korean kid living in Detroit, Michigan and his love in cooking foods especially Korean cuisines. The author is a Korean-American who married Amy, a woman from a multiple-generation Wisconsin family with European ascendants. With this, he worries in the Korean culture he might give to his son.
