Independent think tank closes doors.

The article reports on the closure of the Canadian Policy Research Networks, which conducted the community consultations for the Royal Commission on the Future of Health Care in Canada. According to the head of Royal Commission Roy Romanow, they lose a much needed voice wherein its networks have worked in knowing that Canadians regarded health care as a public good and not a commodity. Moreover, the organization have ceased to exist after the federal government cancelled its funding in 2006.
