Abstract
- The article presents a medical study which explores the significance of cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) in forecasting mortality following elective open abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) repair in Great Britain. It determines the relationship among CPET variables, revised cardiac risk index (RCRI), and modified customised probability index (MCPI). Moreover, it suggests the need for robust pre-operative assessment in patients presenting for endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR).
