Abstract

According to the suggested methodology of the residual power determination of the fissionable fuel were implemented mathematical and software tools to achieve the main goal of the project - the duplicate proving of all reliability and safety parameters of systems used in nuclear power engineering. This method has resulted from the requirements of the international and slovak Nuclear Regulatory standards, e.g. the IAEA Safety Standards or regulations for the safe transport of radioactive material. In the article is presented the proposed mathematical model and implemented real-time system for the data acquisition and the visualization of the watched parameters needful for the mathematical computations in the model. Topic is the part of the APVV-0308-07 project, solved in co-operation of MTF STU (represented by Institute of Applied Informatics, Automation and Mathematics) and Research Institute of Power Plants (VUJE).
