STUDIES REGARDING THE C02 RECOVERY FROM THE ATMOSPHERE.

Preventing the carbon dioxide CO2 emissions from industrial plants is a solution of environment protection for reducing the greenhouse effect gases to the atmosphere. Carbon Dioxide (CO2) capture and storage has the potential for significantly reducing the amount of CO2 released into the atmosphere. The technologies needed to separate CO2 from other gases and to sequester CO2 are known. Further development is needed to implement CO2 capture and storage on a larger scale. The paper presents the reduction of CO2 problem although until now in Romania is no industrial applicable system for reducing and capturing the CO2. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
