SOLUTIONS TO DEFORESTATION.

This article presents information about efforts of the National Wildlife Federation to reduce greenhouse gas emissions caused by cattle ranching in Brazil. A workshop that looked for solutions to the problem brought together stakeholders in the meat and leather supply chain with members of academia and the government. Participants looked at grass alternatives that allowed ranchers to use smaller plots of land for grazing.
