Abstract

The authors call on the U.S. government to have lower yet better health care system. They suggest to lessen the use of medical imaging technology for it has side effects on patients. They note that the implementation of electronic health records (EHRs) can save 77 dollars annually and improve health outcomes. They advocate that antitrust policies must be strengthened by the federal government to ensure that health industry participants will not be capable in increasing the prices of their products. They propose the standardization of payer methods and incentives for providers' administrative interactions and health care value improvement, respectively. They advise to foster the partnerships between public and private entities for the reduction of health care spending.
