Abstract
- The first day of jury selection in the Cheshire triple murder case offered a taste of the intense emotions the case has brought to Connecticut, but ended without any jurors chosen in the capital murder trial. The slow pace showed that court officials may have rightly figured that picking a jury could take months. Some potential jurors were excused after saying that the media had given them detailed knowledge of the case. ''It's all over the papers,'' one panel member said. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
