ERC Survey Found Bad Economy Did Not Lead to Drop in Ethics.

Abstract

The article reports that the National Business Ethics Survey in the U.S. has proven wrong that the recession would cause more workers to misbehave while they are working. The results of the survey show that the rate of employee misconduct reduced from 56 percent in 2007 to 49 percent in 2009, while the percentage of workers who report violations that they observed rose from 59 percent in 2007 to 63 percent in 2009. This research survey in conducted by the U.S. Ethics Resource Center.
