Abstract
- The article suggests several activities and exercises for cardiovascular fitness. It states that interval training prevents heart disease and diabetes, as well as it aids in weight loss. Examples of total-body, nonimpact sports are rowing, swimming, cross-country skiing and walking with poles. Everyday chores like cleaning, gardening and running errands can reportedly burn more calories than those who exercise for 30 to 60 minutes.
