Abstract

The article presents the author's response to the paper about the future of transference-based therapies written by Lesley Murdin. It states that the possible reason Murdin wrote the paper is her knowledge that those practicing dialectical or dialogical cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) claim that they work with therapy relationship. The author believes that psychoanalytic leadership has indulged in the so called trahison des clercs, a term used in the Middle Ages to castigate the priests or clerics who are against the Pope.
