Abstract
- The article relates the fall of African American news anchor and journalist Dominic Carter after he was indicted to 30-day imprisonment for third-degree assault of his wife Marilyn in New York. He was let go by cable television network NY1 and he avoided colleagues after his indictment. His wife blamed herself for the fate of her husband and regret her move of reporting the abuse. It is said that his behavior could have been caused by physical and sexual abuse by his mother.
