Abstract
- The article features the library experiences of several people in Canada. It mentions a story of a person named Steve, a drug addict and chronic drinker who became library advocate after spending his time at the library which he considers as a temporary shelter, as well as the story of Doug and Irma who experienced likewise. It also mentions that the reason why most of the urban poor do not use libraries is that they are not sure if they would be welcomed inside.
