Abstract: The main purpose of this article is to evaluate the understanding of the malāma of Muhyiddīn ibn al-Arabī. For this aim, the article first examines the book of al-Futūhāt al-Makkiyya then it is compared with pamphlet (Risāla), the first source about blame, belonging to Sulamū. It is understood that Ibn Arabī was greatly affected by Sulamī. However, he developed a different explanation to the concept of the blame in the context of the unity of being (vahdat alvucūd) as different from that of Sulamī. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
