Abstract
- The article presents information on the 11th International Symposium on Environmental Issues and Waste Management in Energy and Mineral Production (SWEMP) that was held in Banff, Alberta, on November 16-19 2009. The aim of the symposium was to contribute to the development of methods and technologies for assessing, minimizing and preventing environmental problems involved with mineral and energy production.
