THIS YEAR IN COPENHAGEN.

The article discusses the role architects in reducing the climate change impact on the environment. This call for action includes a blueprint that essentially supports reduction of carbon emission targets up to 90%, design buildings to be carbon neutral in energy use and 30% reduction in emissions of existing buildings by 2020. The author contends that with cooperation from its international counterparts and other stakeholders, this call will feed into the climate change discussion in Copenhagen in December 2010.
