Abstract
- The article presents advice on preparing important documents in advance of a medical emergency. Review with your doctor all details of your living will, which specifies conditions under which you don't want your life prolonged. Appoint somebody to act in your behalf in the event of incapacitation. Keep all documents in a secure place, and give copies to a few trusted friends and family members.
