Abstract
- The article focuses on the deployment of two modified Predator unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) models from General Atomics Aeronautical Systems (GA-ASI) to the U.S. Army and the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) after tests were completed in California in February 2010. GA-ASI chairman Neal Blue says that weapon tests on its MQ-1C Sky Warrior for the Army found minor technical problems. He adds that MQ-1C has quick reaction capability to support soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. He notes that the first Guardian UAV for CPB will arrive on February 22.
