Fukuryu The Crouching Dragons of Japan.

Abstract

The article describes Fukuryu, a tactic developed by the Japanese government that would allow the Japanese divers to strike the enemies unknowingly as they approach the Japanese beaches. It points out that this concept, which literally mean Crouching Dragon, was first developed at the Naval Construction School at the Yokosuka Naval Base, Japan and was submitted for government approval on March 11, 1945. Fukuryu are described as patriots that are willing to giving up their lives for the country and deserves a place in the history of diving.
