Abstract: The article discusses the benefits of antimalarial treatment among patients who have a medical history of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). It mentions several criteria to be considered including laboratory findings, socioeconomic and demographic characteristics of the patient. It states that antimalarial treatment should be recommended for patients with a history of SLE since protective effects have been noted.
