Abstract

The article discusses the different plant-parasitic nematodes including rock-knot, root-lesion and cyst-forming nematodes that attack olive trees and offers methods to control them. It relates that the exclusion method involves the propagation of soft-wood cuttings in growing media such as perlite while chemical control involves the use of fumigants and nonfumigants nematicides (NFNs). Moreover, nonchemical management of nematodes results to their lack of tolerance levels.
