Abstract
- The article features Gabrielle Lozano, a 20-year old culinary arts student from Manatee Technical Institute in Bradenton, Florida. It states that Lozano lost her sight at the age of three, reads Braille and goes around with a cane. According to Lozano's mother, her daughter showed interest in cooking at the age of eight or nine when she would observe her grandmother in the kitchen, watch Food Network and create her own recipes.
