Abstract
- The article discusses designing physical spaces for youth services in libraries and other public places. The importance of having specific spaces within library settings for children and teenagers is examined and the effect of architecture and design on learning is explored. Connections between architectural design and a library's service philosophy, staff involvement, and the focus of library services are discussed. Benefits of user input are also examined.
