Abstract
- The article presents information on the gas reserves in the U.S. It states that the U.S. Potential Gas Committee (PGC) estimated that the total gas reserves in the nation is over 1,800 trillion cubic feet. It also states about the plans of Progress Energy Carolina Inc. to close its three coal-fired power plants to build a new gas-fired power plant.
