Abstract
- The article presents information on Hindalco Power plant located in Orrisa, India. The power plant is the first in Asia to achieve ISO 14001-1996 certification for its high-quality environmental management system. The plant has been recognized as a progressive electricity producer. It is also stated that the plant ensures that any waste products from the coal-fired units are recycled or are properly disposed of.
