Abstract

The article focuses on the study which examines the connection between the socioeconomic status (SES) and the incidence rate of human papillomavirus (HPV)-associated cancers in the U.S. The study states that the association between SES and cancer incidence varies by sex, cancer type and the particular measure of SES. It infers that the importance of considering SES factors when developing policies to reduce the incidence of HPV-associated cancer in the country.
