Abstract
- The article deals with the challenges being faced by News Corp. in trying to achieve its goal to be carbon neutral by the end of 2010. Newspapers and computers are identified as the major contributors to the company's carbon footprint. It reports that newspapers in the company's News International unit in Great Britain have already achieved carbon neutrality as of March 2010. In addition to such a goal, the company is also aiming to reduce power consumption by 10% in 2012.
