Abstract
- The article presents analysis on the authorship of the book "De Reductione." Dieter Hattrup, a professor from Paderborn, Germany who presented an argument on Roger Bacon's involvement in the composition of the book which is evoked by the fleeting memory of a pop culture game. While hesitating the claims of Roger Bacon and Bonaventure on the authorship, Hattrup developed a systematic study that leads step by step, association to association, back to Roger Bacon. It also emphasizes a particular point where Hattrup objected on the Bonaventure's authorship as it revolves on the text's willingness to ascribe to Hugh on the role of contemplative exemplar.
